Basic Information About Day Use Hotels
A1. A Day Use Hotel is a service where hotel rooms can be used during specific daytime hours, different from regular overnight stays. It is used for various purposes such as short breaks, work, or waiting time. The stay duration is usually a few hours to half a day, and it does not include an overnight stay, making it convenient for those with evening plans or needing a short rest. Hotel facilities and services are also available, offering the same comfort as overnight stays.
Note: Some hotels may offer plans that include overnight stays. The facilities and services available vary by hotel.
Reservation Method
A1. To reserve a hotel room, select your desired city and hotel on the DayDreamHub.com site, choose the desired date, number of guests, and the plan you wish to use. Then, enter the required personal information (name, phone number, email address, etc.) and send a reservation request. If the plan requires prepayment, payment must be made before sending the reservation request. If the hotel approves the request, the reservation will be confirmed. Please present the reservation confirmation email on the day of use.
A2. The time slots offered by hotels vary by hotel, so please check the reservation page for details.
A3. Yes, you can book a hotel with your family. However, the system does not allow reservations for more guests than the hotel’s specified capacity. If you wish to add more guests, please contact the hotel directly before making a reservation. Additional charges may apply, which will be collected directly by the hotel.
A4. If you want to book more than one room, please repeat the same booking process. However, there is a limit to the number of rooms available for booking at each hotel, so you cannot book more than the available number of rooms.
Payment Questions
A1. For plans marked as Prepayment, prepayment via PayPal is required. If you have a PayPal account, you can pay using a credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. Prepayment is implemented to ensure the collection of cancellation and change fees, as well as to prevent unpaid accommodation fees.
A2. Payment is usually made via PayPal as a prepayment. Plans marked as Prepayment require prepayment via PayPal. Plans marked as Onsite Payment require payment directly at the hotel during check-in. Please check the reservation page for the payment method for each plan.
A3. If a reservation request requiring prepayment is denied, the full amount paid will be refunded at a later date. In this case, the cancellation policy does not apply. If you cancel the reservation request before it is confirmed, the full amount will also be refunded.
A4. The payment methods at check-in vary by hotel. Generally, cash, credit cards, and debit cards are accepted. Please confirm with the hotel reception for details.
Reservation Confirmation, Changes, and Cancellation
A1. DayDreamHub uses a reservation request system. After sending a reservation request, if the hotel approves the request, the reservation will be confirmed. The confirmation email will contain the reservation details, so please make sure to check the contents.
A2. The cancellation policy varies by hotel, so please check the reservation page for details.
A3. If the reservation request has not been confirmed, you can cancel the request yourself. After the reservation is confirmed, the date cannot be changed, so you will need to cancel the original reservation and make a new reservation with the correct date. The cancellation policy also applies to cancellations made to correct the date.
A4. If you receive a confirmation email, you do not need to confirm the reservation with the hotel. However, if you have special requests, please use the Inbox in your account to communicate directly with the hotel or call the hotel. (The Inbox is available after sending the reservation request. If you need to make special requests before sending the reservation request, please call the hotel.)
A5. Whether the hotel holds the room if you arrive late depends on the hotel. If you expect to arrive late, it is recommended to contact the hotel in advance. If your reservation is canceled due to late arrival, the cancellation policy will apply.
A6. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on room availability, but additional charges may apply. Please contact the hotel in advance for details. Check each hotel’s reservation page or contact the hotel directly for more information.
A7. To check if your reservation is confirmed, please check the confirmation email or the “Reservations” page in your account. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder or contact customer support.
Check-in Requirements
A1. Yes, you need to present your reservation confirmation at check-in. You can also show the reservation confirmation on your smartphone. This will help facilitate the check-in process at the hotel.
Account and Privacy
A1. The purpose of a customer account is to manage reservations and check past reservation history. If an account has not been created by the time the reservation request is sent, it will be automatically created (you will be asked to enter your name, email address, etc.). In your account, you can easily check reservation status, cancel, or change reservations.
A2. The privacy policy outlines guidelines for collecting, using, and protecting customers’ personal information. Your information is used for managing reservations and improving services, and is managed and protected appropriately. For details, please refer to the privacy policy page on the DayDreamHub website. The privacy policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and the measures taken to protect the information.
A3. To deactivate your customer account, please contact customer support to request the procedure. Even after the account is deleted, some information such as past reservation history will be retained. If there are any reservations, deleting the account will cancel the reservations, and the cancellation policy will apply. No refunds will be provided.
A4. To stop receiving newsletters, click on the “unsubscribe” link in the footer of the newsletter email or request to unsubscribe using the form in the newsletter. This will stop future newsletter delivery. However, since your email address is necessary for reservation confirmation notifications, important notifications may still be sent unless the account is deleted.
